KALEIDO
SciencesPo - Campus of Reims Art & Literature Magazine
What is Kaleido magazine?
Kaleido is the cultural and artistic magazine on Sciences Po Paris' euro-american campus of Reims. Kaleido magazine aims at fostering a creative and a stimulating spirit on campus, by promoting all forms of expression and of art.
Created in 2013, Kaleido magazine is both an online and a printed magazine. Our first printed editions released in January 2015 and in May 2015.

Why "Kaleido"?
The name of this literary and art magazine comes from the word "kaleidoscope". We sought a name that had the connotation of something open and inclusive, while also playing on the idea of different individuals contributing to a whole.
The word "kaleidoscope" was constructed from the Gree words for looking at the beautiful form. Roughly speaking, kalos means beautiful and eidos form. Kaleido then means "the beautiful form", or the "beautiful shape". We felt that, in this way, what Kaleido stands for is left open. Inclusion is a fundamental part of the idea of Kaleido.
Inclusion for us means not just welcoming submissions from any individual, but also any form of art and any language in which it might be expressed. We wish to avoid discriminating between different art forms; we do not decide what art is or what it is not. We envision Kaleido as a closer look into the collective creative spirit of our campus.
